Re-opening of all destinations on 1 April
On 1 April 2023, High Speed Rail resumes service to all destinations including Beijingxi (Beijing West), Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhoudong (Hangzhou East), Kunmingnan (Kunming South), Guilinxi (Guilin West), Wuhan and Xiamen, etc. With five new stations added to the network, Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is now connected to a total of 66 mainland destinations. High Speed Rail passengers are required to:
- complete the Mainland Health Declaration online form before travel
- have a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 48 hours of travel if they have stayed in overseas places or Taiwan in the past 7 days

- From airport to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
take Airport Express to Kowloon Station and then take free shuttle bus K1 to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. It takes 25 minutes. - By subway
Hong Kong West Kowloon Station provides direct access to the MTR Austin Station and Kowloon Station via the overhead bridge or pedestrian tunnel, facilitating a seamless transfer on the MTR. - By taxi

Hong Kong West Kowloon Station service hours are 6:00 am – 12:00 midnight daily
Passengers may proceed for real-name checking, security checks, immigration and boarding procedures as early as 120 minutes prior to train departure. Normally, the procedures can be completed in around 30 minutes. Due to additional requirement for nucleic acid test result verification and Mainland health declaration, please allow extra time for the procedures. Besides, travelling during festive seasons or public holidays, passengers using traditional immigration counters or passport holders, extra processing time is required.
The boarding gates on level B3 will open 15 minutes before departure time and close in the last 5 minutes.
Generally, we advise to be at the station at least 60 minutes before.
Yes. The tickets issued by us are real-name e-tickets. Once the tickets are purchased, we will email you the confirmation with a unique reference number. The identification document you used to buy the tickets is the only travel document you need to check in and board the train. No physical ticket is needed.
You can log in at My Bookings and then request to change or cancel online. If you have difficulty to do it online, you can send us an email.
